Fuzzi Bunz Diapers

New and Improved Fuzzi Bunz Diapers are Here!

The highly anticipated new and improved Fuzzi Bunz are stocked and ready to ship! The newly designed diapers, now made exclusively in the U.S.A., have stretchier elastic around the legs to better hug baby's curves, noticeably larger tabs for a better grip and to better prevent sagging, and updated top stitching for added reinforcement of seams.

Fuzzi Bunz diapers use a patented design which creates a pocket between two layers of fabric.  Fuzzi Bunz are the original diaper commonly referred to as "pocket diapers."  They are made with a colorful, waterproof layer on the outside and a soft microfleece layer on the inside.  The pocket is then stuffed with an insert, which is simply the absorbent material that makes the Fuzzi Bunz work so wonderfully.

Caring for your Fuzzi Bunz

Fuzzi Bunz diapers have adjustable snaps and elastic gussets which create an excellent fit for all types of babies.  These photos will give you an idea of how Fuzzi Bunz diapers fit.  This is a 9 month old baby weighing 18 lbs wearing a Medium Fuzzi Bunz diaper.

*Side note:  At 17 months old she was still wearing a size medium Fuzzi Bunz, with plenty of room to grow!

Fuzzi Bunz diapers are very easy to use.  In fact, aside from washing them, they are just as easy to use as disposables.  Were you wondering about "toilet dunking?"  I'm happy to report that there is little need for this.  On most occasions, the poo just rolls right off the Fuzzi Bunz into the toilet.  The time you are most likely to have to "dunk" your Fuzzi Bunz is when your baby is just beginning to eat solids.  There's kind of an in between stage that makes it a little messier, but it doesn't last very long.  There is no need to pre-rinse breastfed baby poo.  It will wash out of the Fuzzi Bunz diapers without a problem.

Mother of Eden™ MICRO-INSERTS

Mother of Eden Fuzzi Bunz Inserts These inserts are made by Mother of Eden, specifically for Fuzzi Bunz diapers.  You receive one of these inserts FREE with each Fuzzi Bunz diaper you purchase. They are made with 3 layers of super soft, incredibly absorbent yet chemical free micro-fiber terry cloth. They are trim and thin yet can hold up to 12 oz of fluid in ONE insert!

Here are just a few more reasons to use Fuzzi Bunz diapers:

  • The polyester micro-fleece layer pulls moisture away from your baby's skin to keep them dry and comfortable.

  • The soft waterproof outer layer, leg gussets and inserts work together to keep messes in.  Leaks are extremely rare!

  • Adjustable snaps grow with your baby.

  • Fuzzi Bunz save you lots of $$$!  See our cost comparison of disposable vs. Fuzzi Bunz cloth diapers.  Well maintained Fuzzi Bunz also have a resale value.  You may be able to get some of your investment back!

  • Fuzzi Bunz come in lots of really cute colors!

  • Fuzzi Bunz are thin and trim.  No bulky cloth diaper butt here!

  • Fuzzi Bunz are easy to wash and they rarely stain.

  • The patented Fuzzi Bunz pocket design allows you to customize your absorbency needs.  You can use one insert during the day and two at night.  I have never had a Fuzzi Bunz diaper leak overnight.  I can't say that about disposables!

  • Fuzzi Bunz diapers are better for the environment.  Each baby diapered with disposable diapers adds approximately 6,000 diapers to our landfills!

Measuring Your Baby

To measure baby's thighs:

Measure where the elastic of a diaper would normally be - around the meatiest part of baby's thigh.

To measure baby's rise:

Measure from mid-back at the waistline to slightly below belly where the diaper would normally come up to.

*Please note: These measurements take into consideration only one insert in the Fuzzi Bunz at a time. Always try your new Fuzzi Bunz on your baby with an insert for size before washing/using.

If the size chart is still baffling you...

Here is some additional information for you to use in trying to choose the best size for your baby:

  • XS Fuzzi Bunz are for either preemie or very small babies - they will fit newborns very well, however, not for a very long time.
  • Small Fuzzi Bunz will fit babies that are newborn (although they may be a tad big at first) through about 6 or 8 months of age when they are ready for the mediums.
  • Medium Fuzzi Bunz will fit babies with either small or large thighs. Medium is our most popular size because babies stay in this size the longest! They will fit babies from about 4 months old (depending on their growth rate and size build) up to potty training stages.
  • Large Fuzzi Bunz will generally not start fitting your baby until at the very least, 12 months old or are in the weight range or very tall.
  • Petite, Toddler and XL are specialty sizes. Mediums have been found from our size testing to fit better and for longer periods than the Petite size diaper for skinny toddlers. XL can be used for older potty training children or other circumstances where larger diaper is needed.

Disclaimer: Our Size Chart has recently been updated to reflect more up to date size data. Fuzzi Bunz diapers have NOT changed their sizes - only the size chart.
