Happy Hempy Fitted Diapers with Fleece

Happy Hempys are made of two yummy layers of Hemp Fleece (55% hemp & 45% cotton). An additional layer of custom-milled microfleece has been placed on the inside next to baby's skin to keep your baby feeling dry. Happy Hempys have been prewashed to remove oily build up and to reduce the amount of initial shrinkage.  (Please be aware, they may shrink a small amount with successive washings).

Happy Hempys have elastic at the legs and back to allow for a snug yet comfortable fit. They are made with Aplix brand hook and loop closures which allow them to fit a wide range of babies and make for very fast diaper changes on wiggly little ones. The greatest benefit of Happy Hempys is that you get to decide what to stuff them with and how much stuffing your baby needs. Inserts are sold separately.

Caring for your Happy Hempy Fitted Diapers

The hemp in your Happy Hempy Fitted diapers has been professionally washed and dried one time. It will need to be washed & dried up to 8 more times before it is fully absorbent. The first few times you wash your Happy Hempy Fitted Diapers, you should NOT wash them along with fleece products. Hemp has natural oils in it and the oils can coat your fleece causing it to repel liquid - not what you want in a diaper, right?

But, have no fear, after your hemp has been fully primed (washed approximately 8 times) you may wash it with all of your diapering products.
